On Friday 21 and Saturday 22 September, Mill Hill town centre will be hosting the Autumn Market. The market is the perfect place to stop for a bite to eat from one of the many tempting food stalls and a browse among the many quality stalls while shopping on the Broadway. The market will be held between Santander and Mill Hill Wines from 11am- 6pm both days.
The market offers a great opportunity to take a tasting tour around the world with a selection of international cuisines, including Nigerian, Indian, Italian, Moroccan, Portuguese and Brazilian food, plus fudge, bread and a bar in the Town Square. Don’t miss the gorgeous hues of hand-made jewellery and craft items, chic fashion, and health and well-being products on offer from the market stalls. Stop by the Mill Historical Society stall for a friendly chat, and find out more about what’s going on in your community.
The Mill Hill Autumn Market is part of the programme of events known as Mill Hill Markets, an initiative organised by Mill Hill Neighbourhood Forum and Vibe Market. The markets aim to increase dwell time and footfall for the town centre, and add vibrancy to the high street. The theme of this year’s events on the Broadway is ‘Meet Your Neighbours’ – something the community can certainly enjoy after the summer holidays. The Laboratory Spa and Health Club has kindly helped to sponsor the market.
The calendar for the remainder of 2018 includes the return of the French Market on 2-3 November and the Christmas Lights Switch On and Festive Market on 30 November – 1 December, as well as the new Saturdays in the Square food and drink market in Mill Hill Town Square on 13 October.
