From Friday 10th June to Sunday 12th June, Mill Hill town centre will be hosting a mini summer festival alongside a World Village Market to help celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday. The market will include a selection of delicious street food, arts and crafts, fashion and jewellery. The event will include a programme of music on stage and a craft beer stall on Brockenhurst Gardens, site of the future Pocket Park.
The market will be located outside Santander bank, and continue up to Mill Hill Wines, with additional street food also on offer on Brockenhurst Gardens.
The World Village Market is part of a calendar of visiting markets for Mill Hill, an initiative organised by Mill Hill Neighbourhood Forum and Vibe Market. The markets aim to increase dwell time and footfall for the town centre, and add vibrancy to the high street.
Upcoming events include an Italian Market in July and the return of the French Market in November. Plans are also underway for Christmas festivities in the town centre.
