Vibe Market is pleased to welcome the ‘France at Home’ market from Normandy to Mill Hill and Cricklewood town centres in November.
On Friday 13 and Saturday 14 November, the market will visit Mill Hill Broadway with a selection of delicious foods and quality gifts, fashion accessories and home wares. The market will be open both days from 9am to 5pm and will be located between Iceland and Mill Hill Wines.
The French Market will be the first in a new calendar of visiting markets for Mill Hill, an initiative organised by Mill Hill Neighbourhood Forum and Vibe Market. The markets aim to increase dwell time and footfall for the town centres, and add vibrancy to the high streets.
John Gillett, chair of Mill Hill Neighbourhood Forum, said: “This is just one of the many initiatives we have for Mill Hill, to improve our town centre – do come along and also let us have your ideas for developing Mill Hill.” There will be three hours of free parking in the Bunns Lane car park on Saturday.
On Sunday 15 November, the market will be visiting the Cricklewood town square, outside B&Q, from 10am to 4pm. The French Market forms part of the Animate to Activate Cricklewood project. Delivered by Vibe Market and funded by Barnet Council, the project includes a calendar of street entertainment and music, children’s crafts workshops, and tree decorations in the Cricklewood town square.
Osita Udenson, managing director for Vibe Market, said: “We are excited to bring the French Market to Mill Hill and Cricklewood. As a visiting market, its specialist products will complement the existing offer on in the town centre. We look forward to seeing a bit of Normandy in London this November.”
