At 4pm is Harripaul. A band that combines diverse influences together to create a fresh and original blend of rock, reggae & classic soul. Onstage, Harripaul is a powerful 4-piece band founded on the talents of Jean Harripaul, originally from Luton, Mark Gardner of Dunstable, Paul Little and Avi Ben Ezra both from London. Jean Harripaul (guitar/ vocal) first found chart success as a solo artist under the name of Roger Jean, with the hit record ?Cover Girl?. During this period Jean toured extensively with Roachford and The Christians. A consummate professional with impressive experience, he has also worked as a session guitarist with The Christians, Dub Star, Billy McKenzie of the Associates and Julian Cope. Mark Gardner (Drums Percussion) is best known for playing with reggae band ‘The Amharic’, whose album ?Descendants? is currently available on the Pharos Records label. He is also known as the driving force behind Bizzyhedz studios. While you can hear echoes of these trailblazers in Harripaul’s material, they have a sound and style all of their own – check them out at http://www.reverbnation.com/
Come and enjoy a fun day out in Cricklewood and feast your eyes and titillate your tastebuds.
