Cricklewood Specialist Market resumes this weekend, Friday 6 and Saturday 7 February 2015.  We have enjoyed a January break and looking forward to taking the market to another level.

bread Danish CroissantTo refresh, the aim of the market is to activate the new public square in Cricklewood by encouraging local business startups and enabling the expansion of surrounding businesses.   It is in this spirit that we have signed up Monsoon Bakery, Willesden whose owner, Icky, is passionate about high streets.  They will be selling freshly-baked bread, croissant, pies, pastries and cakes every Friday and Saturday.

Joining us on Saturdays, is Pick’s Organic Farm, a family run farm and has been producing organic meat and vegetables since 1999.BurgerBeefbanner  They strongly believe in the principles of organic farming. Crops are grown and animals reared without the use of pesticides or fertilisers, growth hormones or routine antibiotics. Crops are grown in a way that enhances the environment, maintains the quality of the soil and does not harm wild life. They also flip some mean juicy burgers and you don’t want to miss it.

175236 (2)409 (1) Another new stall on Saturdays, starting 14 February is Eunella’s Cakes and Catering is a professional baking and cake decorating company, ran by baker Vendora Greenaway. Vendora has worked in the food and catering industry for over 35 years, working in establishments such as, John Lewis and Claridges restaurants. Vendora started baking cakes for Family and then Friends, over time gaining new customers who had seen her creations and tasted her cakes at celebrations and functions. From which Eunella’s Cakes and Catering was born. Eunella’s Cakes uses fresh ingredients with flavours to tantalise your taste buds, all made with a teaspoon of sugar, a tablespoon of spice and a ladle of passion. Making a variety of cake flavours to suit your occasion: Birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, christenings, confirmations, dessert tables and custom cakes for any celebration.
