Danny Maher, the Chair of Cricklewood Improvement Programme (CIP) gave a welcome address to 30 businesses, CIP members and Design for London’s, Alison Mayer, at the first Business Evening held at the Crown Moran Hotel on 11 october.  The purpose of the evening was to engage businesses with the concept of a Business Association for Cricklewood, an activity of the Outer London Fund (OLF).

Attendees were able to hear first hand, how businesses can benefit from the OLF and  Retail Consultant, Sally Williams, presented a synopsis of her findings in the latest Business survey conducted by her company, Retail Revival.
Contributing to the evening with an exciting presentation was Gort Scott, Cricklewood OLF Design team;  Robin Lee Architects, in charge of the public realm;   and Osita Udenson, OLF Project Manager rounded off the presentations with promises of further contacts with businesses, along with a list of planned meeting dates  for the future from CIP Project Coordinator.
